Padraic Ward is Head of Pharma International at Roche, overseeing business operations across Europe, Asia, Latin America, Canada, the Middle East and Africa. He has held this role since 2018, drawing on nearly two decades of experience in the company. 
Previously, Padraic led Roche's commercial operations in both France and Europe. His earlier career was deeply rooted in oncology, where he assumed senior positions in several countries before advancing to Vice President of the Breast Cancer Franchise. 
Padraic began his pharmaceutical career at Glaxo Wellcome, where he played a key role in launching treatments for infectious diseases, before becoming Commercial Strategy Director for Glaxo’s Latin American regional office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. 
An advocate for healthcare innovation, Padraic represents Roche at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA).
